Corona/Riverside Hey everyone, I just got into crawling with my axial AX10 (ridgecrest). Ive been doing a lot of crawling lately and only have one other friend who joins me. I would like to try and get out once a week. Hit me up if anyone is interested. Possibly going to MT. Rubidoux in Riverside off central. Its a great spot for crawling and you can catch some pics on my instagram page Instagram |
Re: Corona/Riverside Hey Alex. A group of dudes get together on Wednesday afternoons....its down in corona del mar. Its always a good time...if you can make it come on down |
Re: Corona/Riverside Around 330. Sorry forgot to post the time.... |
Re: Corona/Riverside What other days/times do you all go? I can't get down there before 6pm during the week. I'm done with work at 5 and traffic is nightmare going south on the 405 and worse on surface streets. |
Re: Corona/Riverside I wish i would be able to make Wednesdays, I get off work untill 330 and OC traffic would be a nightmare for me as well. Friday will not be happening now since i picked up an extra shift on friday for some extra cash. I work 4/10s mon-thurs 5am-330pm. I usually have fridays off. My friend and I will more than likely reschedule for saturday or sunday. |

Re: Corona/Riverside yea man just a lot of people going up to wheel all day |
Re: Corona/Riverside Corona isn't Corona del Mar... not sure if there was confusion |
Re: Corona/Riverside Sorry i didnt mean event like that. I meant a group of guys going wheelin.....my fault for the confusion. |
Re: Corona/Riverside its all good buddy,, the word event sometimes turns people away,, get togethers are more fun laid back, no work or drama for anyone, just fun crawlin,,, make shur you bring a lunch that day, services are a bit away from the parking lot,, |
If the rangers at Vasquez hear the word event they will kick us out. With a big group going to it just better to say get together. The rangers also don't like fast cars in the parking lot. There are horseback riders in the area too so it is a big concern for them |
Re: Corona/Riverside Thanks for the useful info jerry |
Re: Corona/Riverside Whats everyone up to today. Im thinking about going over to MT Rubidoux since i had to work yesterday. Id like to pick up a new pinion gear for my crawler and test it out |
Re: Corona/Riverside Spending the day with my kid and putting my new rig together for mock up |
Re: Corona/Riverside Had a good time over at MT rubi, front wheels weights definitely helped out. On my way home i picked up a 14t pinion gear to slow my ridgecrest down a bit. Also grabbed another set of weights for the rear. Just have to order some softer springs. Will be planning a run up Mt Rubidoux next sunday around 10/11 am. Will be going with two others. Three crawlers total. Would be pretty cool to get a few more crawlers to cruise with. The trails up the mountain are a blast. It is just outside downtown riverside off either 14th street or central ave. |
Re: Corona/Riverside Hey guys Some OC guys and the TVSC are having a gtg at Forest Falls. I know its a bit of a drive but come on out and have some fun wheelin. You will need a 5 dollar Adventure Pass from the local store up there or and Big 5 or other sproting good store. We are meeting up this saturday at 9am. Its not too hard to find. PM me for the info as i dont check this thread very often. Thanks Danny AKA 2Caps |
