Diablo Crawlers and friends, on Google maps, I just stumbled on some uncharted rock crawling territory up by Rock City. I'm pulling together a last minute reconnaissance team to go scout it out. The more scalers there are to try this new area, the better. We're meeting up at the normal parking lot at Rock City at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. We're going to start out on the trail no later than 9:15 so don't be late. Who's in for this Diablo Crawlers Reconnaissance Adventure?

I have had a few inquiries on Diablo Crawlers shirts and hoodies. The colors that came out the best were the red and the heather gray, so I'm going to stick with those two colors. Except for the girls that might want to order red, gray or pink in a women's t-shirt . In order to get a decent price I need to get at least 30 items ordered. I'm just testing the waters to see if there's enough people that want shirts and hoodies, don't send money yet. If I get enough people posting up that they will order than I will do another official shirt and hoodie post telling everybody I'm taking orders. ---Read all this info.! --- The colors will be red, heather gray, or pink. Youth sizes up to men's 5X. $14 t-shirts $25 hoodies up to size XL. After XL, each size increase add $2. So it would be $16 for XXL t-shirt, $18 XXXL and so on. Same with the hoodies. Shipping not included. The preferred method of payment is PayPal or cash. PM me for payment info. When paying with PayPal, select, "sending money to friends and family" , so we don't get a paypal fee. I would like to collect all the payments before Monday so I can place the order. Once ordered, it should take about a week and a half until they're available. In the comment section on PayPal, write the quantity, sizes, color and if it's a shirt or hoodie for each garment.

The second Sunday of each month, Sonoma County Scalers hosts some type of get together at Flat Rock in Santa Rosa. Donny Fleming Todd Norton, Angelo, Tom, my two kids and I, of far, will be heading up to join them on September 13 at 10am. Richard Kinyon said they will be setting up a g6 style course and probably will be stacking 100 gates and maybe two laps, best time and least amount of penalties wins. " Their place looks awesome and I think it's going to be a lot of fun. The location is at 4230 Flat Rock Circle, Santa Rosa, California Should take you to the street. Park on the right, go to the "left" before the bridge and you can't miss them. Who's down to go up and represent the Diablo Crawlers?

Thats my "Home Club" they put on a great event you wont be disappointed . Flat Rock is a to die for spot even with the water being very low,there is still enough to be a challenge when the course heads down to the water. I live real close to Flat Rock and will get you guys step by step directions to the place as it is a little difficult to find.

Coming from HY 101 you take the HY12/Sonoma exit, at the Stop Light turn left onto Farmers Lane. Follow Farmers Lane to HY 12 again and turn right, drive up to Streamside Dr. (about 1/2 mile) and turn right. Take the first right turn onto Wayvern Dr and it turns into Flat Rock Circle, find a parking spot past the NO Parking signs (you will see a huge metal bridge on your right) where they end. If you walk back towards the bridge you will see a trail on your left, follow it down and it will lead you to the Staging Area.

Unfortunately I will be out of town that weekend. I was looking forward to it as I ran a few sections with a few Diablo Crawlers last Sat. at the GSRCC event nice group of guys. Ha Ha I had to change a broken steering knuckle on the trail and two of your guys were to only ones to stop and ask if I needed anything. Next time.
