Default Nor-Cal Spots at San Luis Reservoir

Here is a spot I visited the other day. All locations shown here (Dinosaur Point) are within 100 yards of each other.

Nothing special. Could hold a comp here but not sure it's worth it. There is a $6 day use fee.

Here is a little video clip. Very low quality, sorry.

Here is where it is:

Another spot (Basalt Recreation Area) at San Luis Reservoir.

Also $6 day use fee. Could hold a comp but probably not worth it.

Here is a little video of it. Again,,,, sorry for the low quality.

Looks like some nice rocks to me. For a comp we don't need much as far as rocks but it sure helps. The downfall to small places is when we want to do a trail ride and there isn't much there other than the small rocks.

Looks like a fun place. Good find.

Yeah, no wind when I was there but I know it can get bad. Anyway, just another spot if anyone is down that way.

If you go when the water is low you might get them back if you look real hard
