Default Military wrap leafs!!

It's been over a year since I started working on this project and finally, they are done. The springs will be available in a few weeks through RPP Hobby for $19.99 a pair (two spring packs for one axle). There is a limited quantity available as I am not sure if I will have any more made due to the complicated process and cost of production.

The springs are based on the original Bruiser leaf with the same arc, length and width but with a softer spring rate. The springs have the current Tamiya mounting pattern of three holes for ease of installation on many of the currently available scale axles. They will be a direct replacement if you have a Bruiser or are currently running Bruiser leafs. They are NOT a direct replacement for the Hilift chassis which will require some modification to the mounting brackets and shackle placement since they are a longer flatter spring than what the Hilift uses.

Here are a few pics from Mad4Rnr's build thread: MadDog's Bruiser Hybrid

I hope Corey has a big order in for these, I plan to buy up several sets...even more then before now that I know they are a limited run. Is there an official ETA for when he will have them? Pay pal button is all fired up

These look pretty nice!

Why is one eyelet doubled and the other isn't? Just wondering?

A lot of the military wrap leaf packs only have the one end fully wrapped.

These springs are so sweet guys, Dean really nailed the design of these things, they work like a dream

I haven't updated my build thread yet but I have some cool pictures on my camera showing how the back end of the secondary leaf drops away when articulating...so cool
