Default Teva Sandals

Does anyone know the model of the sandals in this picture?

I have had these for about 10 years and, as you can see, they are beginning to wear out. I have had the velcro replaced a few times, but the padding and sole are starting to give in.

I can seem to find them listed anywhere on the internet. The closest I found is this:

called the Hurricane.

I am not really wanting to get a different model, but need a new pair.

Thanks!

I would always just take them to the local shoe repair shop. The guy charged my $5 for the new velcro to be sewn on...

Nice! The velcro of course was about the only thing that ever wore out. I got the Terradactyls now and they are great

Yeah, I never had a problem with anything else. Now, the rubber is starting to get hard. I've looked at the other models and they seem to have too much arch. I've got fairly flat feet and I liked that model.

The sandals in both pics look exactly the same to me :? You can see the "Teva" logo on the one in the small pic. It is possible that the Tevas you have are indeed the same Hurricane model you found on the net?

No, they are not the same. The ones in my picture have been around much longer. The differences between the two are in the arch support....and I like them without much arch support.

Yeah, before I bought these, I had always worn the Teva classic sandals (the ones without the rubber sole). They usually held up for a few years. I remember bitching about the price of these when I got them.....well, I guess I should retract those negative comments now!

Get Chacos and never look back. More comfortable, and believe it or not, more durable. They also use vibram soles.

They are the best sandals I've ever owned.

I prefer to call them Moses crosstrainers rather than sandals

All I know is I was dismayed at the result, especiallly when the pedicurist charged me twice...

That was for the other services. Who else requests a happy ending at a pedicurist??
