Default mysterious rc driver subscriptions?

i just got an rc driver in the mail today but i havent signed up for a subscription and havent sent them any money of any kind. anybody else?

the only reason for this i can think of is a while back somebody posted up a way to get a free subscription. you sent them a tip or trick and you could be selected or something like that. i sent one in but that seems like forever ago. its possible that they might have chosen it i guess. this is all i have to go on now.

but rc driver is the magazine to have and my lhs doesnt stock it. i have been wanting and r/c magazine subscription for a while. now i have one. FOR FREE!!!!

Umm, if i'm not mistaken :?

Awhile back, JIA did an article in the mag. maybe you had gave him the idea for the article, so he gave you credit for it. That would be the reason for the mag. But who knows, maybe it was someone else

BlueMonster gave me an idea for an article so I hooked him up with a Sub.

fuzzhead, I'd bet that they used your tip.

Of course if you think this is some odd screw-up, let me know and I'll get the sub cancelled.

but i submitted a bogus tip. it was the clod steering nub cut off thing. i guess i dont have any other rc drivers so i cant check if they used it.

but im not complaining. the sticker on the plastic wrapper said good until july of '06 so they must have liked it alot. lol.

Wasn't a bogus tip, no such thing.

There are people out there that are just getting into electric solid axle monsters.

For them it's a good tip.

what issue month was that in. cuz i would kind of like to see if they found a pic to go with. and if they mention me at all.

do you have a scanner or would it be to much trouble to scan the page in. i have never done anything like it before and would like to see how they put it in there. also i wish they would have sent me the issue it was in.
