Tamiya has also re-released the TL-01 chassis in a LA version.. it comes as a rally car for sug ret $130.00 it has bigger rally tires and whatnot... this just proves that the good ones never die... Tamiya Impreza 2004

Responding to customer demand for a rally car R/C kit capable of driving off-road, Tamiya releases the Rally of Great Britain version of the 2004 Subaru Impreza on the easy to use TL- 01RA chassis. Chassis is simple to assemble and features easy and reliable control, making it highly recommended for R/C beginners.


About the 2004 Subaru Impreza
The 2004 Impreza features loads of improvements over the 2003 model, including to the body, engine, suspension and aerodynamic design. The rear wing has been redesigned for improved aerodynamic performance, and the flat horizontally opposed engine has been refined for more power. The Impreza performed well in the 2004 WRC, with an especially dominating display on the gravel and rough tracks of New Zealand, Greece, Japan and Italy. Driver Petter Solberg’s electrifying win at the Rally of Great Britain in Wales marked his third consecutive Rally of GB win.

Chassis features shaft driven full-time 4WD system combined with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long span arms.
