PeePee's F1 thread Quote:
I want to see Rubens Barichello take the championship this year. Guy's got talent but seems fated to play second fiddle. Second fiddle to Schumacher I can see, but second to Jenson Fawking Button? Plus he's the "old man" in the field and I can relate to that. Go Rubens. |

But I believe they will push Jensen to the top, of course he has been in f1 a while, but not as long as Rubens. |
People are second fiddle because that's who they are. :flipoff: Fresh-ish off the rumor mill. Ferrari Massa Alonso Brawn GP Button Rosberg Renault Kubica Grosjean McLaren Mercedes Hamilton Raikkonen Red Bull Racing Webber Vettel Toyota (out of the series) Williams Rubens Hulkenburg Toro Rosso Buemi Algernon Force India Sutil Liuzzi Lotus Senna Trulli USF1 Wurz Summerton Campos F1 De La Rosa Petrov Manor F1 Glock Carroll Sauber Heidfeld Pizzonia |
While I'm here, have a guess. Current drivers. I'll help you with one. #7 is Hamilton. :flipoff: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kbzv9bJyPP...%20drivers.jpg |
Ferrari with Alonso is no more a rumor..... |
Alright. I did say fresh-ish. :flipoff: I wanna know how anyone thinks they're going to beat McLaren. |

lotsa red flags in qualifying holy. |
Ferrari 8th and 16th,.... i hate that they have sucked almost all year long! |
Oh sure so now this is a spoiler thread too? Ruiners! :flipoff: |
That's just qualifying, the race airs at 12:30 a.m. But yeah, Ferrari sucks without the mighty Schuey. |
Qualifying has been better than the races. Ruiners! |
I Hope Brawn gets 10 spot grid penalties for not slowing down for the yellow flag at the end of the session. That's bullshit. Rubens went flying through there will no thought of slowing down. They shouldn't have waited for the last 3 minutes in the session to go out for the flying laps. |
Alright, so I gotta stop reading this thread. :flipoff: |

No, you just have to stay up late and watch qualifying. :flipoff: |
I don't have a TV. I DL the show from the BBC from Mininova. ... which is still not done DL'n. |
not the same F1 your talking about.... but fun. http://www.f1boston.com/images/HeaderImage1.jpg http://www.f1boston.com/ i been here, in fact my brother and i got into a pretty serious wreck here that shut the track down for 20 minutes while they got my cart back upright and on the track again. the carts only go about 40-45 on a good day. ;) |

thats ok though cause vettle scored maximum points and button only got 1 point. im hoping for more of the same in 2 weeks in brazil. red bull cars do well when its hot and fast or when its wet out, both things brazil is known for. the only thing that is the wild card here is vettle's engine, and if they can last and the abu daubi race track. |
And it's not been going well for those engines. |
We shall see. This was his Belgium motor, and next race he'll be on the Monza motor, and then back to the Belgium motor for Abu Dabui. I hope that he can pull it off, or at least get ahead of Rubens. It really put a damper on things when 2 of his motors blew earlier in the season. Not only did it take 2 motors out of the equation, it took away vital points that he needed. |
Well someone's a Vettel fan. :ror: Answers: 1. Raikkonen 2. Buemi 3. Button 4. Massa 5. Alonso 6. Fisichella 7. Hamilton 8. Kovalainen 9. Heidfeld 10. Trulli 11. Bourdais 12. Barrichello 13. Vettel 14. Rosberg 15. Webber |
Hell yeah, I think he's the next Schumi. If it wasn't for those 2 blown motors... |
|
How can they get anything done in that mess? |

I figure if it ain't messy, they ain't doing anything. |
kinda reminds me of that vw factory in dresden for the phateon i think? |
I'm not entirely sure who I want to take the championship this year. I'm a reasonably big fan of both Brawn GP drivers, but I am also a big fan of Vettel, if for nothing else than because he's as close to an underdog as you can get in this title fight. running on a used engine for the remaining two races, barely within striking distance of Button, but if Button continues on like he's going now, I'd almost put money on Vettel to take it unless one of his remaining two engines decides to pop. after all, the two engines he has remaining are engines that were used on absolute motor-killers of tracks, and from what I've seen of Interlagos, you could steam-broil an engine up there if you aren't careful. haven't the slightest idea about how Abu Dabui is, though. I'm definitely going to watch final practice and qualifying and the race from there, just to see how much the new circuit throws everyone for a loop |
