| Got my first deer yesterday
Well after three days of not seeing anything...Last night about 5 minutes before I was getting down out of the tree, to call it a day... I saw her coming out of the pines. No it is no trophy, but good eating... Anyone have an luck lately?

First deer ever or first this year? I've got hunders of pictures of deer this year in my backyard I'll post up next week. There is a 140 class 10pt in a few of them. My girls have all of them named so it would be a shame to kill them. They come within 20 yds of the back porch.

It was my first this year... On our land we see deers all the time, but I went out with my father in law and his buddy. His buddy leases some land and they wanted to clear out some of the doe's...Yea post some pictures that would be nice..

Cool what state do you live in? Do you have a feeder that make them come so close to the house?

MS, and yes I have several feeders around the house. It is illegal to hunt over feeders in MS but, you can feed them for viewing purposes. The MS river is about 600 yds from my house so they high water pushes them in.

NO, redneck is my comment. When the kids aren't home shoot one with a bow. Think how easy it would be to drag it into the garage to butcher. |
