Why did you have to make such an honest damn man outta me?


Fawkin ditz of a bank teller just put $2,000 extra in my account when I deposited my paycheck.


As i called the back to tell them of the fawk up, all the great stuff i could buy was rollin through my head......

They would have caught the mistake by the end of the day anyway. Then you would $4,000 less in your bank account.

the bad thing is i guess the machine apparently read the check wrong.

The branch manager said that it would have been deposited indeed had i not called.

then my employer woulda been stuck with the bill.

but i coulda had a JR9303 for a lil while

Props for being honest, some people just don't care. Plus, your boss woulda just taken it out of your next few checks and you'd really be screwed.

as long as the company you work for balances their accounts it would have been caught for sure... good karma is better in the long run,,, now a suit case full of cash found under a bridge.... hmmm

Similar thing happened to me one day. Deposited a large check, and they cashed it and deposited it. I gave it back to them right then and there, they would have found out for sure. You think a bank doesn't double check their numbers?

But again props on doing the right thing. It isn't easy sometimes.

They put 16,800. in my account one time and it took them a couple of days to figure out why they did that. When someone told them they were missing 16,800. they got the clue.
