| Last thing I thought I would see when I opened the door.......
I stopped by my buddies shop the other night on my way home from work just to say hey. I opened the door, walked in and what did I see..... http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=2/3923481021.jpg&s=x7 My buddie makes these http://www.advancedinjectiontechnologies.com/ they installed one on bigfoot 11 before the race. They had a show here locally and they didn't want to drive back to St louis just to turn around and drive to casper WY. So they got a hotel room and parked the tractor trailer and unloaded bigfoot to give it a once over before the next race. A couple beers later and we got the driver (Rick Long) to fire that bad boy up. OH YEA the smell of burnt methanol, doesn't get much better than that. I have a couple more pics but they are too big to upload here or to putfile, any suggestions on where I can upload them? Just thought I would share |

He didn't want to put the tires on just for us to take pictures. He said it takes him about 35-45 minutes just to put them on. I thought it was pretty cool to be able to check it out up close and personal. Even got to sit in the drivers seat. Hell who dosn't like a big azz truck with 66" tires!

so i used to live in northcarolina a couple of miles from where gravedigger was born and i would see TOM walking around in town from time to time. he has some trainer trucks you can rent after a couple courses and after that i got to drive the bad boy. they are so scary to drive becuase if you floor it for a second you can lift the front end up. it was awsome.

I used to work with Rick Long, he was in the machine shop at my work. Nice guy. now and then he stops by the plant with the truck. (I think mainly to rub it in) the big foot stable is 5 minute drive from my work. |
