| San Diego Hobby Shop check it out
I went by this shop today, HOBBY CENTRAL, they are open for business but they are still in the process of moving things around, stuff still in boxes. They carry 9 and 10 t pinions, maximizer beadlocks and the guys that work there like rock crawlers and even tinker with them. I discussed the crawling thing with them for a few minutes, and they told me to bring mine by to check it out. Someone with a crawler had been by earlier and the guys seemed real excited. One guy told me they had a welder and when things get settled down they would get back to tinkering again. They had a few TQ3's sitting around in boxes and I asked them how much, I can't tell you the exact amount, but it was a hell of alot less than at tower. I picked up a brand new radio and receiver, they cut me a sweet deal. They have Panther plow boy tires which I hadn't seen in awhile. This place is awsome the people are great, I highly recommend if your in the area to check them out. I wouldn't normally promote one shop over another but if they are into crawlers I figured I'd pass the word to you guys. Here's their site: http://www.hobby101.com/ It has the location there. |
