My son has a project for school and wanted to do something different. He drew out a design and we headed to the shop.... Getting ready... Dad's instruction all done and ready to make sparks... Fire in the hole... And done... He did amazingly well. Seriously, this kid has some awesome fab skills |

I can tack-weld with the best of them too. Really cool to see him do it himself. So what was the project? |

Online humor? Never heard of it. Delrin wheels and a MOA conversion and some foams and it should work. |

Cool man i can only amagine what it would feel like. You can tell by the look on his face that he was having one hell of a time out there with his dad. |

All 3 of my kids can weld, I started them in the shop when they were around 6, The youngest is 9 now and is the fab king. He is getting the hang of brazing, I have to keep a supply of scrap around or he will start cutting up good stuff to make into something. And I wonder why I keep running out of oxy. It's easy for them because I got what we call the monkey welder 20 years ago, It's a lincoln sp250 with the onboard computer controls, set gas, material type and thickness and it does the presets. anyone can weld with it. I understand the proud papa feeling. |

ahh that was a fun project.. They banned peanut butter for us though. All you had to do was take a thing of peanut butter, shove the egg in there and close it. it would survive anything | |

Cheater tip here, suspend the egg with pantyhose or rubber bands. Like a suspended mic.
