Default 2013 version of the Sears, Roebuck and Co. Big Book

Most of you probably do not remember the Sears Big Book, but it was what the kids (and some adults) stared at and wished on for Christmas each year up well into the 70s. For me and my friends around here, this is the new go to catalog.

2013 Fall Master

Northern Tool and Cheaper Than Dirt work too.

What is your bathroom reading material?

Those were around through the 80s. Cause we had a game of you get to pick only one thing per page, and I'm not as old you are. So, yes I remember those well.

Before the web the full size catalog or the Christmas wish book from Sears was the shit. Especially as a child with all the toys...........

....and the women's underwear section

I had a collection of sears catalogs when I was kid for this very reason.

I always thought the Service Merchandise catalog was better for toys though.

Yep! The sites now have filters for your choice of viewing. Back then you actually had to turn pages to get past the granny panty and the long john sections to get to the good stuff

MSC Master Catalog.

But if you use it for bathroom reading, it will make your feet go numb.

How many of you had those Sears drumsets circled for you christmas list?!

Victorias Secret catalogs were way better than the Sears catalog... I may have had a small collection...

Victoria's Secret didn't start until 1977.

The Sears catalog was the Victoria's Secret for us older guys.

We just got a BIG Bass Pro Shops catalog. That'll make you have to use a handrail to get up off the seat.

My mom, born in '57 said that their wishboook became toilet paper. She was an outhouse baby! I called her tonight to see what the Sears catalog meant to her.
