Yeah, I knew I'd get sh!t for that! I couldn't afford the repairs if I took it offroad. To make matters worse, it's a 4x4 too!

you need to get that off road

Trike Kid 12-21-2005 08:30 PM

Guys, trucks are for hauling stuff, street trucks do that quite handily, while looking good, and not like a beat to hell POS. You should have gotten a 4x2 and lowered it if you're going to go that direction though. At least you didn't lift it and put boggers on to drive on the street.

or,crawler 12-21-2005 08:49 PM

I think you're refering to my pick up when you say beat to hell

I hadn't planned on doing anything to it when I got it, I just wanted a truck. As the mods progressed, it turned into what it is!

no, just in general, I see people that daily drive rigs that don't have a straight panel on them, at least what panels are left after the rust starts to fall apart and leak 4 different fluids at a time.

There really nice:-P My dad owns one and all he neded was som 3's to make it perfect. They do wear easily though we've alredy gone throug one on 1.5 years. (in half a year there was no heat then blown brakes shocks and kooling after a while) It's so easy I've done half an event the second time driving it. Oh and by the way we have an 91 Range

Trike Kid 12-22-2005 04:36 PM

I bet that even though thats not a "real" Jeep, it'd have a "real" easy time out-wheeling your truck.

or,crawler 12-22-2005 05:16 PM

bigflex 12-22-2005 05:58 PM

Well, lets see, it has more power than your truck, shorter wheel base, coils at all 4 corners and the same size tires as your truck. It would for sure, unless you somehow at the age of 15 have mastered every aspect of wheeling and hotrod can't drive at all.

or,crawler 12-22-2005 06:27 PM

I have been driving since i was 10 and my dad started teaching me how to drive a chip truck( 105,000 pounds, 700 horse) when i turned 13 so im a really good driver
:flipoff::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:

HVFracingwilly 12-22-2005 06:49 PM

People that have to brag about being good drivers just plain suck!!!

Sorry but from what ive seen its the truth.

or,crawler 12-22-2005 07:03 PM

no i am really confident in my skills

Trike Kid 12-22-2005 08:04 PM

My freind's 15 now, been driving since 8 or 9, and still managed to back his dads car into a stump because his attention lapsed for all of 2 seconds. He also used to drive the family 2 1/2 ton military truck, quite a bit harder to run than a new truck. PS, sitting on daddy's lap in the truck doesn't count as driving it. If that was the case, I drove an F350 when I was 4-5.
