So I got my vendor star today. I have a couple of things I have made in a VERY limited quanity due to a lack real machining capibilities. Told the wife that since I dropped the C note for a vendors star I need a way to make it back. I was going to go out and buy a mini-lathe when I stumbled on a smoking deal on a multi-machine. So this is what I now have sitting in my garage And this is what the 3rd and 4th bays in my garage look like now. Had to move just about everything to put it were I wanted it. I put it on my wifes old desk. the desk is a lard *ss so I figured it would hold this 473 pound b*tch up with no problem. Plus, gives me plenty of storage space for all the parts.I know its not the best peice out there, but it will make life for me 100% easier then it was 24 hours ago. Thanks to Tom (sniders1975) for helping me get it out of the back of my truck. |

I've got the exact same machine. It works ok, after a while the ways really loosen, and the lathe has always seemed to never be wobble free. But, for the price you can't beat it. You will find yourself not using the dremel any more. Congrats |
