Default houses

We haz one.

We got keys wednesday evening and have been excitedly, yet slowly, moving in since then.

And I built the shittiest bookcase on the face of the planet... but jake says its ok because he likes "modern art" I should have expected that from a 35$ bookcase from wally world... tomorrow im going to get some planks of wood and figure out how to build one myself without crappy kit parts...
any suggestions?

Im so excited to be a homeowner!! And so far our neghbors seem awesome.

Best part: the garage is f%$#ing ginormous!!! Can't wait to get that set up properly and start some projects! (Im getting a jimmys rig. .... eventually...).

I would like to think it wasn't my building skills... I've built stuff before that didn't suck...
of course, i did build it, and its total shit, haha.

I'll be getting a book on building/woodworking stuff and starting the learning on that pretty soon. there are a few things on Pirate that I've been wanting to try anyway. I would love to know how to do woodworking and build my own furniture, so why not start now right? Jake has said he wants to learn that too, so I think a part of the garage will turn into a woodworking area... a small part in between the beer fridge and the rig projects... lol

Our beer fridge was delivered today unfortunately it is standing in as the regular fridge in the kitchen until we have money for a little bit nicer one, but then it takes its rightful place of glory as the holder of beer and liquor in the garage.
