Those are pretty cool, the name is pronounced "veper". They are pretty much the equivalent of an H2, except you could probably take this one off-road.

Man, look at the front end on that thing... Looks like something pro-line would build. AKA the Pleazer front end.

| translation
I have read a translation of the stuff written at the bottom of that page as well as a translation from a different site. The two say this: "Yesterday under Vitaly Klitschko's patronage, the first Ukrainian jeep developed has been presented and collected by engineers of the company 'the Kremenchug motor transportation enterprise' creation for a basis has been taken a military complex the Chain armour. In spite of the fact that the peace car, instead of the militarian, the case of the machine The first Ukrainian jeep 5 meter length and 2 meter heights. Weight over 3 tons. As release of updating in a representation class is planned. Initial cost of 70 thousand US dollars." "Italian-Ukrainian enterprise 'Iveco-Motor-Sich', together with the auto enterprise 'ATP-15356' (Kremenchug, the Poltava area), have begun manufacturing of the cross-country vehicle 'VEPR' in Kremenchug. 'VEPR' is capable of transporting 21 people. It is equipped with 8 cylinders engine IVECO of 'EURO-2' type and reaches a top speed of 110 km/h (68 miles/hour??) , weight about 4 tons, fuel consumption 14 liters on 100 km (16.8 m/g), ground clearance - 510 mm (20.1 inch)" The first translation confused me. It looks like an H1 threw a rod up the tailpipe of a PT Cruiser and this thing was born! Portal axles though = SWEET! |
