| Is this a fair price? New tires and rims on the Wrangler
So I'm trying to sell these wheels and tires I took of my '08 Wrangler and am asking $900 on CL. I have been offered $650, but my gut tells me this is too low, or am I wrong? They are like new Wild Country XTX Sports, LT285/70R17 on 17" AMP wheels from Les Schwab. Is $650 a decent offer for them or should I tell the guy no? Not my cup of tea, that's why I changed em to these: 33" BFG KM/2 Mud Terrains on 17" Black Rocks. Likey much better! |

I would go "NO" lower than $800. Unless you really need the cash right away, I'd hold onto them for a while even and repost them a few times before giving up on that price. especially if they are in good to great condition. Post up a compairitive price of what they are new. That $650 guy can get bent. |

The tires retail for $225-250ea. depending on where you get them and I'm not sure about the wheels, but I would guess $125ea. comparing to other Schwab AMP wheels. They are perfect, barely 4,000mi on them and never taken offroading. Only dirt they saw was the parents driveway when we visit over there. Wheels have no marks on them at all, never been curbed, no chips, scratches. Look as good as new. |

It might be a little steep, the rims help though. Run over to jkowners.com and post them there. |

Is if for a set of 4 or 5? Either way I would not go below 800 either. The second picture looks much better though than the first one! Let us know when your ready to add some armor to that JK! -Jason |

The ones I'm selling is just a set of 4. Also trying to sell the stock spare too. I'll keep posting them and see what happens, it would be nice to get the $800. I'll have to check out your site, I'm sure we'll be adding more things to the JK over the years! |

Market determines price, not an internet forum... If someone is willing to pay $650, thats what they are worth. |

IE: 1/6 scale newbrite for $550 (starting bid) WE know that's BS, but still, I've sold 3 JK's for $100+ shipping each that I only got for $36 a piece. "I" set the value, someone else decided they could pay it. SDS customs wants only $700 for his tricked out XR10, is it only worth $575 if that's all I want (or can) pay? He asked if his price was fair, and it is. He asked if he should stick with it, and I believe he should. A tire shop or pawn shop would probably stick with the same price (maybe higher) due to their condition and value. | |
