| Remember this?
If memory serves me, I seem to remember way back when, a long time ago, I had a RC10 with a ESC (heres where it gets fuzzy) I think it was called a Tekin 410K? It was cool because you could program it to run at certain amps for the first minute, different for minute 2, 3 ect. It also had a regeneration feature where it sent braking power to the battery, it played a little tune when you turned it on. I've checked Ebay but didn't see anything like it. I'm not sure I have the name right?, thats the point of this thread, I figure some of the guys that have been into it awhile will know what I'm talking about by the discription. I'm getting back into the RC10's again with one of my brothers that just moved back from 20 yrs of living in Hawaii, so I was looking for one of these. Might help if I have the right name. Thanks, Troy |

I have a Tekin 411P sitting next to my computer right now, want to buy it? It's like new. I think I ran it about 4 times back in 1993.

I had a 410k. I let it go with a Thunder Tiger motorcycle on ebay a couple of years ago. Should have kept it. They have a pdf of the manual on teamtekin.com. Go to the manuals and specs page. |

I run my original Tekin 410S in my Tamiya TB-02 Mercedes. It's the first ESC I ever purchased, we're talking at least 1991 ish? Love it! |

Yep, or pre 1991 even. It was the best ESC I've ever run for that application, in the RC10 cars the races were 3 minutes usually, you could program that to run at different volts each minute of the race. It was awsome!! I've aquired at my LHS and was told they don't produce them anymore, but a knowledgeable sales guy agreed he thought it was the best ESC made. I hope to find a couple, I have my eyes on a few places, I'm sure someone has one laying around in something not being used, my hope anyway. EDIT: Also posted in Wanted forum. WTB 2 of them.
