| Is to tough to be a crawler thsi time of year?
I think we have great vendors on here. BUT, I just need a few things to complete my project. And the vendors seem to be out of stock on a BUNCH of stuff. Have you guys seen this? This is my first year doing RC crawling so maybe it's always like this after Christmas. I don't know. It's just a bit frustrating. Either I can't get to the site from work (our internet filters think Vanquish sells weapons), the vendor doesn't have the product or the shipping is as much as the product for an item smaller and lighter than a deck of cards. I'm just a bit frustrated right now. Thanks for letting me vent. Chris |

In the winter is when a lot of people are busy building. Some manufacturers and retailers have a hard time keeping up with the demand. Add that to the already sometimes out of stock or hard to find parts and it can be a bitch. What are you looking for? |

The main thing I was looking for was a set of Vanquish shock hoops for an SCX10. MY son broke a stock rear this weekend so I cannabilized my unfinished kit to get him running again. I contacted a vendor here and on a local forum (Rockshow from T1E.com) and he's going to order them for me and bring them to a semi-local comp this weekend. It all worked out. You may get a chuckle out of this Harley. I think about your Futaba 4pl thread all the time. Mine is sitting there, waiting to be used. I can't wait to get my truck done so I can dig into that thread and get my $pl up and running!! |

I think a lot of manufacturers are changing product line ups also, so some things might be gone for good, or replaced with new products. I know Proline, Axial and Castle are making some changes, and probably not the only ones.

Sorry, but my winter builds have probably been contributing to your issues. I hae rebuilt three of my rigs so far. Still got one to finish, since it technically can't be a rebuild if I never finished it in the first place. Wes |

And people say crawling is a dead hobby....cant be dead if the vendors cant keep up with the demand. I just dont see why more companies dont get into making scale parts theres lots of $ to be made

All shock hoops are in stock and have been, as far as shipping, its out of our hands, we do offer p.o.s. USPS flat rate which is 4.95 anywhere. we got wiped out during Christmas, but our inventory is almost back to normal again. Mike's a great vendor as well.. Think about making some green shock hoops and I'll buy another set and give these black ones to my son. | |
