|  Southwest VA police officer shooting
Today, around 3pm, a shootout occurred in my hometown, about 10 minutes from where my Mom lives. Details are still pretty fuzzy at this point, but from what I gather, a man dressed in camo clothing opened fire on sheriff's office deputies with a high powered rifle from the mountains. The last news I heard, 4 officers were shot, one of which was confirmed dead. Shitty. That happened out here one time too. Guy fired on his chick from the woods ,waited for cops and fired on them too.

That sucks. If you would of post that a cop beat on somebody all the cop haters would have came on this thread. Some get killed and none of them post up .  |

As of this morning they're still keeping quiet on a lot of the details and not releasing names, but everything ended late yesterday evening. 2 officers were confirmed dead, 2 wounded, and during the last shootout the suspect was also shot and killed.

I dont hate cops, I just think even city cops should be voted into position, and often time the wrong people are given too much power. There was a guy a couple grades ahead of me know to be rough on girls in HS and was a pretty big racist , well he went on to become a cop and raped 2 girls and on his 3rd try he got busted by the chicks BF who just so happend to carry a pistol. Held him at gunpoint till the cops came . All these girls were 18-20 and he used the underaged consumption go to jail or let me in your pants thing. Wish he would have gotten shot. A cop two blocks from me has a know child molseter for a dad , but they let him be a cop. So it's not the cop's I hate it's usually the person. Very few people become police to protect and serve anymore.
