If you are waiting for Dez, you may be waiting for a while. I'd assume due to the rapture he's holed-up in his bunker eating Spam and Saltines. He probably won't set foot outside until spring, kinda like Punxsutawny Phil...

Please. I create a thread just for you to finally explain, in specifics, why RR was the greatest prez ever, and the best you can do is act like a 16 yo GOP cheerleader.

I'm callin' you out, son. Give it your best shot.

I'll pass. I don't have the desire to try and explain my admiration of Reagan and what he did for this country.

He wasn't perfect by any means, but he was a great President. He believed in our Nation and the ideals it was founded upon.

I only wish someone simular would come along now, we could certainly use them.

All I want is a civil debate on the man. You're always touting his accomplishments but never deal in specifics and bail on the conversation when I corner you on it.

I consider you and I friends, I won't let it get ugly.

i think some good things happened under reagans watch..the berlin wall and relations between the soviets and the US, i think the cold war pretty much ended these thing would of happened in time but i think reagan may of helped speed up the process for sure, i also think he helped reduce the nuclear arsenal on both sides

Might be getting your wish I hear old Newt is running for the Republican nomination for next election. He was always a big sponsor of ol' Ronnie. Can't wait!

Nope, just wanted some clarification on why the conservatives hold him to such a high regard when his policies then would be considered pretty liberal now...

Dez in particular is a big fan but never gets into specifics, so I thought I'd give him a chance to take the floor and clear the air.
