Yep, Its a scam, and a good one. I got that a month ago, and was almost fooled. I actually followed the link and started to fill in the info before it dawned on me to call paypal. Forward that email to spoof@paypal.com Dan. |

go into your mail client/browser and usually under view you can adjust the headers, make it display all. Then re-open that e-mail and the real sender info will then pop up, and i'll bet it isn't even from paypal.

Any "updates or new info" ebay or paypal needs they will let you know through the site its self. I also no longer click on links from e-mails, just type in the URL. I kept getting this one for a while. The first time I saw it I almost fell for it. **link in the message has been removed. "You have added laptopseller@yahoo.com as a new email address for your PayPal account. If you did not authorize this change or if you need assistance with your account, please copy and paste this link into your web browser https****** Thank you for using PayPal! The PayPal Team Please do not reply to this e-mail. Mail sent to this address cannot be answered. For assistance, log in to your PayPal account and choose the "Help" link in the header of any page. ---------------------------------------------------------------- PROTECT YOUR PASSWORD NEVER give your password to anyone and ONLY log in at https://www. paypal. com/ Protect yourself against fraudulent websites by opening a new web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer or Netscape) and typing in the PayPal URL every time you log in to your account. ---------------------------------------------------------------- PayPal Email ID PP007" |
