We need a smilie with sweet dripping off it's browe.
It hit 105 here yesturday with a heat index of 117!! With all the humidity we've had, you can see a hazy fog just sitting over the city even till the mid night. My thermo sensor was still at 99 when it was 12:30AM.

This is getting rediculess.

95 here without the humidity. The a/c condenser in my rolling oven (work van) just blew up about an hour ago. Thermometer in my van reads 125...... I'm sweating ballz. 4th a/c condenser to go out on my van since last summer!

It's only 20c here today, raining too. Feels nice for a change.

I walked down to check on my pond today and found only a puddle:cry:. Sadly it's no longer even deep enough to refresh my dogs. My little boston terrier can't even get submerged in the puddle.:

A look from the other side of the pond:

These flags were left up from our G6 event we had in May. Here is the water in May:

The water was low in May, but we still had some. Here is another picture from the G6:

Here is the water in August or lack of water:

Tyler, Texas has established a new record for 100-degree days this year. Here is my dog "Jackson" after exiting the puddle:

Already looking into it"thumbsup". When the pond is full it's 6 feet deep. I'd like to double that. We have a small island I want removed from the pond which will give us more water also. I am going to cut down some of the trees surrounding the pond and now would be the perfect time. It's just too damn hot:cry:

vonclod 08-02-2011 06:07 PM

around 77 today with not alot of humidity..maybee gonna hit 85-90 by the end of the week..its pretty bearable, maybee just right

Manning 08-02-2011 06:11 PM

108 degrees today, but not much humidity so the heat index was only 110.

I'm skipping the usual Tues/Thurs 35 mile bike ride. I don't ride when the actual temp is above 99.......
