Default High Quality Hex Drivers.... LOL

Please do not pay $35 for a set of these....

Pay $6.95
HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : Turnigy Long Shaft 4pc Hex driver set

Or $15 for a single one...

Pay $1.29
HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : Turnigy 2.5mm Hex Screwdriver

And by the way... no way are these considered high quality.
People who post these for sale for big money in the classifieds with multiple sets offered should be banned, at least temporarily.

Report suspicious ads like that and we will look at them closer.

if we were to start reporting the overpriced stuff for sale on this forum the mods would need to work 3 full shifts to keep up. I would not be afraid to try these but the price might be a little high, but at least as of this point there is no law against selling something for more than you paid.

my friend use's those turnigy drivers and loves them, no breakages yet, i'll be replacing my drivers with them.

I have to agree there is nothing wrong with asking what he's asking, if someone is willing to pay the price without researching what he's buying first he deserves to be ripped off. that being said. those drivers in that listing in the for sale section should NEVER sell.

Ya I know, it's still wrong though, to try and scam one of our members is just not right. If he wants to get some poor fool, he should try it on craigslist or something but not here.

last straw, I reported the ad aswell, he removed the picture showing that they are turnigy drivers and flipped all the drivers so you cannot see the name brand on them anymore and uploaded a new photo.

not to mention the price of his radios is ridiculous aswell.

To the mods: can't something be done? Like remove the thread or something? I know he's not technically breaking any laws/rules but Jason/badger own this forum, so they make the rules though, so can something be done? I just think it's not right to do that to us.

after a few people get burned people will see the bad feedback and stop buying from him, untill then RCC should be proud of themselves for letting it happen when its so obvious he's a shady seller.

atleast the people who read this thread and know what forsale thread it's linked to will know.

edit: for those who don't know http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/sale/...x-drivers.html

when you could see the name brand I didn't see an issue since potential buyers could research their purchase, but now that you cannot it's obviosly an attempt to rip somone off.

how is listing multiple sets breaking a rule?

ie..if i bought 3 sets of tires and dont need/want them anymore
and put them up for sale in the 4sale section
..is that wrong?

I'm not sure where exactly it is, but I have seen members get in trouble for selling multiples at a profit... If I go on Hobby King and order 100 esc and motors or batteries then list them in the for sale section for an obscene profit, that's ok? To me that's a vendor, buying multiple items at a discount and selling for a profit. But I guess others see it different... it must depend on if the member is liked or hated, so whatever, not my problem if someone gets burned.
