traxxas new release ? if you haven't heard, Traxxas - The Fastest Name in Radio Control! | traxxas.com has announced a new release to be announced next week. what will it be? my best his is that it will compete withaxial and hpi's new rig. any thoughts on what you think it may be? although traxxas is good at creating new and emerging markets in the rc hobby.... I'm hoping its something new and not another reworked platform. |
Probably a slash with a desert buggy body on it. |
I bet it's a 1/12 mini trophy truck to compete with HPI's because that thing is a blast!! |
A 1/16th Mini E-Revo with a new body and wheels! Ka-Chow! \sarcasm off |
I hope that the spinning X does not represent the 10th remak of a specific chassis. |
realistically hey, they offer alot of vehicles, but only a couple of chassis options the old pede chassis for the rustler and bandit the stampede chassis the 4x4 stampede chassis the summit/revo chassis and the 1/16th erevo chassis and 2 boats.... time to come to the table guys! If it is a old chassis with a new body and wheels - the "bashing" may ensue. |
It's gonna be a scale crawler. :???: |

But like the others, perhaps it is time for them to release something that is different from everything they have seemed to perpetuate for years. |
some quick googling is showing the price to be around $800-$1,000. But that is just what the internets say. So, maybe a 1/5th scale whatever. |

The new Nitro/Velineon T/E RevoMaxx Monster Short course rally racer. With top speed of Warp 3!"thumbsup" |
T-Maxx 10 year anniversary edition. |
They've used the rotating X before but that's been reserved in the past for 100% new vehicles. |

they just announced a TopFuel Dragster so Im putting my money on a drag car. |
".. Traxxas has something new coming out on the 30th of November 2011! And that’s it really… We don’t know any more! There have been guesses that it could be a 1/5th scale or a 1/8th scale buggy, but nobody is 100% sure. At the rumor price close to $1000 it’s not going to be a 1/16th scale! Personally we are <DEL dateTime=2011-11-23T00:27:20+00:00>leaning towards</DEL> hoping for a 4×4 5th scale! Other rumor news surrounding the vehicle is that the official Traxxas model number is 6407. " |
Revo + stretched Chassis + SC body = 1/5 short course truck. With the brushless motors out there it wouldnt even need to be gas. |
If they do something Revo based, I'd hope the would follow Losi's path and upsize the whole thing instead of stretching it out then changing the rolling stock and body. |
1/5 Electric. |
Its another monster jam replica.....j/k What ever it is, I'm sure it'll be nice. I've always liked Traxxas trucks and had good luck with them. |

I say 1/10 4x4 sand car-ish buggy like the HPI or Axial EXO. Running a 4x4 slash drive train, this will probably end up a tougher rig than both HPI and Axial. |
I've heard form credible sources that Traxxas has been working on a Snow mobile maybe this is it? |

Fixed And if so........ im getting one..:) |
It's a crawler, but it goes 70+mph :ror: |

I'd buy a snowmobile if they made one. |
maybe it doesn't even have wheels? maybe is a helicopter or something lol |
A RC sled that actually worked would be really cool.My 01 Skidoo mxz 600 is currently for sale, want to get a newer Renegade and go to Tughill this winter. |
I bet it's a 1/3 scale boat you can ride in. |
A snowmachine that could tackle deep powder and hydroplane would have my attention... Otherwise I'm getting a Wraith. |
Im not thinking anything exciting. I started with Traxxas, and while they take a beating, I have become board with there lack of innovation, creativity, and vehicle options. |
Think about this.....they have dubbed it "X"......what other major motorsport do they sponser? Food for thought huh?;-) |
Maybe a dirtbike? |
I think it's all conjecture until the 30'th. There's been no hints except a date ( 10 yr anniversary of the maxx) and the letter x which is also the number 10 in roman numerals. I'll be waiting though. |
They've used the rotating X before with brand new models. My guess is still a 1/5th scale whatever. |
its a rustlerslashmaxxsummitslayer.. |
