| Carnitas for dinner
Found this recipe the other day and decided to give it a whirl today. 1 pork shoulder 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce 1 can salsa verde 1 large onion -Put pork shoulder in dutch oven -Take half the can of chipotle peppers remove the seeds, and dice, then smear on top of pork. -Dice onion and place on top of pork. -Pour can of salsa verde on top. -Place in oven at 350 for 3.5-4 hours. |

That's good stuff! My wife does an almost identical recipe but cooks it in a crockpot all day.

Maybe try to make some gravy or whatever with the sludge and some water/beer/Coke Zero on the bottom? Top it with some Bruno's peppers. |
