Default I got a new dog

I got a 7 month old boxer yesterday
She is the sweetest and smartest dog that I've ever had she immediately goes to the door when she gotta go out
I can tell she was neglected as a pup very skinny and her tail was never cropped
But she is very well mannered

Beautiful Boxer...Congrats on the new family member but she looks much more then 7months old
Chocolate Lab here, she is going on 14 in August , had her since birth....Love my Fur Person

DOG (Spelled Backward)
When God had made the earth and sky,
The flowers and the trees.
He then made all the animals,
The fish, the birds and bees.
And when at last He'd finished,
Not one was quite the same.
He said, "I'll walk this world of mine,
And give each one a name."
And so He traveled far and wide
And everywhere He went,
A little creature followed Him
Until its strength was spent.
When all were named upon the earth
And in the sky and sea,
The little creature said, "Dear Lord,
There's not one left for me."
Kindly the Father said to him,
"I've left you to the end.
I've turned my own name back to front
And called you dog, my friend."

She is still very much a puppy
The vet said she might be a lil younger than 7 months
But the guy that actually rescued her said she was 7 months
I'm just gonna go with 7 months
I gotta switch her food she ate maybe 2 bites this morning plus she is very under weight
I'm trying to get her to trust another human again
She follows my son all over the house just a really good dog in my eyes

Damn it THX, that kind of dog stuff always gets to me!

Aiden, Boxers are great dogs! I've had a few myself.
They are are really smart and want to please... but they have a lot of energy.
Make sure she gets plenty of exercise and play time and she'll be good... not enough exercise and she'll find a way to release that energy on her own!

Good lookling boxer. Your gonna love her. My boxer Darby was the clown of our family, he could always bring a smile to our faces. Sadly he fell to Lymphoma (cancer). I miss him everyday.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your boxer

I lost my French mastiff due to someone pouring antifreeze in his outside water bowl ...scumbags I hope they rot in hell

Nice dog. I don't file "neglect" under not getting the dogs tail cropped. Dog looks great with the tail. Please don't cut its tail off.

She is too old to be docked ....besides a goofy dog like her needs her tail to add to her character

Great lookin' girl ya got there! Boxers are great dogs, but they do get very hyper at times when they don't get enough attention. I have a male brendel that's great.....when he finally calms down a little. At 6 years old, he's still got plenty of energy.

I'm beginning to think she is sick
She has just been laying around all day
She hasn't eaten.anything I finally made her an egg and she killed it
I gotta get my ass to wally and get her different food
Or it could be cause she is in a new home
I'll give it the weekend and if nothing improves she is gonna go.to the vet
Yesterday afternoon the guy that I got her from has a st Bernard and clamped on her foot it requires stitches but the vet said no cause its where the foot flexes
Just a little while ago she shit in the yard and it was an orangish red color and very soft so I'm thinking that this garbage food he was feeding her is just not sitting well

Man I feel for you. Those bastards deserve to be force fed antifreeze. That kind of crap is unforgivable.

Nah ...don't force feed them

I say tie them in the middle of a pack of rabid dogs and let them take care of the situation

Give her some canned pumpkin and see if that helps. I also make my dog hamburger and rice if she is not feeling too great.
