| Chevy parts on a ford?
So I've got a bronco with a broke. Rear axle. While my neighbor has a chevy about the same rear with a blown motor. My question is do u think it's possible to use the Chevy rear end on the bronco? I kno this probly isn't the right forum to post this on but I don't feel like registering to a new one. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

What year bronco/chevy, what axles? bolt pattern, width, spring mounts, and gear ratio will be different. brake lines may be an issue. Honestly you would be better off with another ford axle but I'm sure it can be done

I kno bronco is a 93 with 3.55 gears. I don't kno anything about the Chevy as its not mine and for right now this is just an idea rattling around in my head. It's just cheaper than buying a new axle. Even from a junk yard they can run $300

Honestly the only thing I kno for sure that broke is the yolke. But the welds that keep the axle tubes in the pumpkin broke so no the pumpkin sags lower than the rest of the axle if u kno wat I mean. Kinda like a v. And the pumpkin is the point of it. It's not that extreme its only sagging a little so I think I could just have it rewelded and it would be fine.

I do love the fact that you want help but don't want to put in any effort on your part. Also, this is probably the most poorly written thread in months, and its not even a page long yet. Good job.

| Re: Chevy parts on a ford? Does it really need to be any longer than it is. I explained my question. I gave all the information I had. Not putting in any effort. Wat more do u want. An essay on how u wasted 5 minutes of your life postin that useless reply. Like your reply wasn't even necissary. Honestly i feel like me replying to ur post is a waste of my time but really dude. That's how problems get started on here. Someone has to post a smart a$$ comment like u.

Second, starting a thread stating that you are too fawkin' lazy to do anything for yourself yet asking for other people to do things for you is a straight up invite to flamedom. Third, it is very likely that I have every tidbit of information you need to know whether or not the swap would be possible, but with your attitude I would rather let you wallow in your own laziness.

Now. Your last statement. If u have the info. Great good for u. However I don't think I want the information from u. You'de probly give me misinformation and something would get messed up. Ide rather jut wait to get a ford axle. And if I waited I would t have to deal with getting the info from u. So I'm killing to birds with one stone. The problem is being solved and I'm ridding myself of the aggravation.
