Default Football and Pro Sports in General = Sad State of Affairs

So I'm up late working at the ol' laptop so I'm a little cranky. As football is just around the corner I was perusing the latest sports headlines. And lo' and behold, another jacka$$ football player got busted! This dude was operating a boat while under the influence.

So I read on... and lo' and behold, his team, The Bungals, drafted two morons with previous problems with the law! And lo' and behold, they're both in trouble with law AGAIN and they haven't even been to training camp yet!

What is this world coming too? Who in the hell shells out all this friggin' money on criminals??? Now I'm not a Bungals fan, I have my own shrine of mediocrity; the Chicago Bears.

The fartknockers are actually threatening to become an above-average team. But lo' and behold, the idiots in management draft a dude with a rap sheet! Stuff like assault, illegal gun posession and drug charges! WTF!

Long story short, these guys make/spend way too much money to have their heads so far up their butts...

Anybody else have a problem with this???

I have lost interest in all pro sports. It is not enjoyable to me anymore. Everytime a team does well it gets dismantled and there goes the team. Too much pay and not enough pride.

When I was growing up, Pro football players (most) actually had day jobs.
Waaaaay to much money being paid these days to a bunch of spoiled M/F'ing
punks. I've also lost interest in pro sports because of this.
I still am a Nascar fan, in Nascar they don't just give you huge contracts for nothing, you wanna make more, you have to win more races.
It's sad the contracts signed by college kids not even proven anywhere but college. Money has ruined pro sports imo. No one plays for the love of the game anymore. (or very few do)
