Default What's the guy/gal called who.......
....directs planes on the tarmac? Watching Wipeout with my 6 yr old and one of the hosts was dressed up as one. She asked and I have no clue.

the ground crew does everything from clean the planes, loads the bagage, backs the planes to the taxi way and directs the planes to the gate
