| The most embarrassing trucks you've built
We all started somewhere. I frequent the Facebook Facepalm thread in here and got to thinking about the pieces of $h!t I built back in the day. I know some of my firsts were definately a far cry from where I am today. Let's see the most embarrassing trucks you've built. We want to see the rigs you hesitate to own up to building in the past. Keep it narrowed down to only rigs that you've built .

I've done some embarrassing things, but never had a full on embarrassing rig. Not yet anyway.

Let me get started on converting my wraith to full IFS/IRS, and then we'll see if I fit in here or not...

My first and by far worst. Yes, all that weight went in the front tires. Those are 18" floor tiles under it. Then I "upgraded" the tranny and made a cool CF servo mount... Last edited by DickyT; 04-23-2015 at 08:48 AM. |

I'm so embarrassed, I'm gonna post them in For Sale section, and some Newbie will buy them and be excited about it! |

i made a couple 1:6 jeeps and used 5/8" pvc for the cage and chassis. i still like them for what they are but they are funny looking for sure.

This is my first go at a honcho, before I had the help of RCC members to turn me around and show me the light, or shades of gray at least. Way too tall, weird shock set up that proved ineffective along with some link length issues. Thankfully things have dropped down and the truck has much more direction. |

My worst is already on here. "NOT lightweight" in the super section. It turned into something good, though. NOT lightweight! Then there's my 1:1 Last edited by KJ10; 04-23-2015 at 07:54 PM. |
