Re: Pics of your latest purchase With all the robotics and what not i am surprised we dont have a crawler class yet, and my crawler i mean something with legs,,, 8 of them will be fine i think. But maybe that a bit too nerdy for the likes of us and in the realm of the caltec and MIT boys. |
Pics of your latest purchase I laughed when a friend showed me his. I forgot to mention I’m a State Certified Pest Control Operator for 20 years...... Hang up and Drive |

Re: Pics of your latest purchase So, I went to sLowes to see if they might possibly have a new battery for my 5+ year old Hitachi cordless drill. And, they actually still make that model and the batteries much to my surprise. So, the battery was $53, but they had a 12V lithium impact marked down from $99 to $69, so I bought that instead figuring for $16 more, I get a new tool as well. Got it home, and not only did it have the battery in it, it had a spare also. SCORE! https://i.imgur.com/FFr0l3S.jpg Also, I've been wanting to try some taller bars on the squishy bike without breaking the bank. Steep and Cheap had Deity Black Labels on sale for $30, they're usually about $80. 25mm rise, 787mm wide (cut down to 750mm), 9x5 B&U. https://i.imgur.com/WfgjtFo.jpg And finally, went down to the Fightkraft store for some 1.5" belt clips for one of their holsters that I have, and found a local office supply that could order my favorite pens. I don't save any money vs ordering online, but I do get to support a local business, that's a win in my book. https://i.imgur.com/GtA7YwZ.jpg |

I bought a Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Odyssey and a requisite screen protector for the kids. But I don't have kids. So this overgrown kid is playing it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...0295117b8b.jpg |

If it can be had in pink i buy it for my rc's. I picked up some white rpm rod ends to dye pink and the aluminum bits on my main rig are getting anodized this winter too. I'm not shy at all. This is my DD, I put a hard tonneau cover on it so i can hide my rc stuff and have a work bench. |

Nope, it hasn't seen the track in 2 years. It sat with a popped headgasket and an angry sounding bottom end for almost a year, got a solid engine in it just in time for the old oval track we raced on to close up for good. So I've just been driving the pants off of it and hauling my rc crap around. Glad to hear someone enjoyed it but me! There is more in store for the truck in the next year. The 22r is coming out and a 3sge from a Japanese altezza (lexus rs 200 here in the US) with a 6 speed is going in. 210 hp bone stock will be fun! |
Re: Pics of your latest purchase 1 Attachment(s) Too lazy to drive 30min to the scuba shop to fill up my PCP Scuba Tank. Figured I would save myself a few trips. |
