| voltage and rpm.. need some help.
cant think today.. this is just for tripping relays. so mathematically I need a straight answer that for some reason I cant figure out. so.. 3,750rpm = 10v. 375rpm = 1v 1,000rpm =2.667v (rounded up) 2,650rpm= 7.067v (rounded up) 300rpm= what freakin voltage I have no clue. |

375 rpm / 1V = 300 rpm / #V #V = (300 rpm * 1V) / 375 rpm #V = .8V | |

Good gawd I had to think again... I struggled so hard with this simple math when I went back to college a few years ago. I finally got the answer but I had to lay out the equation line by line to get it. 375 rpm/1v = 300 rpm/ nV Isolate the nV, so 1/300 ÷ 3.75/1 = 300/nV ÷ 1/300. The 300 cancels on the right side, so you have: 375/300= 1/v 1.25/1 = 1/v Isolate v by reciprocating each side of the equation 1/1.25 = v .8 =v Please tell me that I'm halfway remembering this correctly ! |

we got it figured out. setting the api was time consuming for the 2650 rpm relay. but now that I have it all written down, I shouldn't have this problem again! lol
