Default Donuts in the snow

Here are some pics of my scale CORR Pro 2 truck doing donuts in the snow. This a stretched and widened stampede with the body off a Nitro Demon I found at the RC junkyard.

This truck is not finished. I still need to finish the bumpers and the rollcage and eventually get some new tires that look a little more scale.

i like it, the chassis extensions make it look like it has little itty bitty ladder bars on it!

The RC junkyard is an old pawn shop in Ft. Worth that has a long row of junk RC cars and lots of boxes full of parts. If you know what you need and you have time to sift through all the crap, I can almost promise you can find it there. The old man that owns it is kinda hard to get along with at first, but once you get to know him, you can get some pretty good parts there for CHEAP. I built up the hole stampede chassis and all the parts to widen it piece by piece for about $30. That also included a rustler chassis, lots of parts I didn't need, shocks, tires, the list goes on and on. There is also some vintage stuff in there if you want to take the time to rebuild it. It is a cool place.

I'm glad you guys like the truck. It is an 1/8th scale size, and is a blast to drive and jump. It is REALLY stable too. With it stretch and widened, it almost feels like you can't flip it. If you guys are interested I'll take some pics showing how I strectched it and stuff. There are a lot of hand made parts on the truck just because I get a kick out of building my own parts.

WHOA......Slow down guys. It's not THAT great. I mean the guy does have a lot of junk, it's just a matter of, if you think you can find what you need. The stash get picked over pretty regularly. I don't want everybody making a trip to Ft. Worth, not finding anything and then wanting to Kick my @ss.

But if you must know, the name of the store is "Airport Pawn".

Airport Pawn

Good luck. Like I said. It's a win some, lose some kinda place. I bought the body for this truck for only $2.00

OK I have had some request to post up some naked shots so here you go. If you see anything of interest let me know. Keep in mind the roll cage is not finished and the bumpers have not been built yet.

If there are other shots you would like to see just ask, I'll do what I can.

Looks good, little too wide for a CORR truck, but everyone's a critic right?

BTW I love CORR, i'm lucky cause i live in wisconsin so i go to Crandon twice a year, and sometimes bark river. Although with CORR moving soley out west i would think thats a little closer to Texas (unless its all in california)

It looks a little wide due to the lousy @ss Stampede tires I have on it. Some day I'll get some better tires on it. I am a CORR fan. I just wish they would make a trip through Texas. I can only hope that the sport will grow and eventually make it here.

The old guy does have some whole cars. I'm not sure what all he has. There is a lot of used nitro stuff.
