Stolen/Missing rig from Axialfest 2017-1.9 Wraith

Hey guys, I just wanted to post up and let you all to keep an eye out for my 1.9 Wraith that was stolen out of my camp between early Saturday Morning and Saturday afternoon this past weekend. It has been re posted all over Facebook and Instagram for days now, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to post up here also. It is a long shot but any extra media outlet we can get can help aid the search.

Even though the Photobucket fiasco knocked out my photos, Itll still give you an idea as to the parts on it.

In a nut shell it has VP XR F9 and Rock Jock Curries, MMX/Roc412 2300, RC4WD AX2, Racelines and Pro Line BFG Krawlers, Protek 170 servo, many parts from Wertymade and most notably the Jeep TJ grille. Panels are orange with black vinyl decals "4488 Torqued RC Media".

All I want is for it to be returned, no questions asked. I can arrange for shipping too. If you are on the west coast especially, keep an eye out in your area or on social media

They could have mistaken this truck for the new $1,900 Vanquish rig. It looks very similar at quick glance. I hope you get it back!

people stealing is getting ridiculous in this hobby. I make sure all my stuff is locked up at a big event... I hope you get it back. that is a nice rig. everybody keep your eyes peeled in the fs section/ ft section.

AFAIK, there were 3 of them made so far. Someone could have thought it was one of the rigs, being a 1.9 Wraith and also having the Jeep styling. Those things are easily worth $2500+ each.

They're getting $1900 for the chassis and body, easy $3500 in a complete rig. He said if they had to bill the hours and material to make the 2 (3?) that they did, they would be $20k plus each.

KOH ran into the theft problem after a year or two. Lots of $$ laying around, lots of other things to pay attention to. Lock it up, don't trust people. Sad, but how it seems to be anymore.

Good luck tracking the rig down, probably in parts passed around a group of dbag buddies already.

Actually a very good idea! If only we had some funding...

Even just a scannable chip like we put in our pets would help.

It is already available and they are cheap.

Scannable chips won't help if the product gets stolen since it has a range of couple cubic foot. GPS is the only way. The electronic guys on this forum could easily integrate a gps module in an esc or a separate standalone system that could be smartly hidden inside rc crawler chassis.
