Freewebs blows, I had my free website up for a little while before posting a link on here. The amount of traffic exceeded the bandwith and locked my site for several months. Never got it working again, ended up deleting it. After MWRCA got off the ground, it was clear we needed a website to organize the event dates and pictures. I contacted the MNRCRC club about their website. They hooked me up with a link to this new beta microsoft website deal. I've got 9MB of pics up on the site and it is only 30% of my limit. The website is completly free, no advertisement garbage. The website is very easy to work and add stuff to. I get my own domain name for free. I don't think there is a bandwidth limit. The website I have is great, the only thing I don't like is that the backrounds are very basic. http://officelive.microsoft.com/officelivebasic.aspx www.MWRCA.net Last edited by Mnster; 07-20-2006 at 01:50 PM. |

I guess this can also work for allot of people that just want to host pictures and stuff. Most high speed internet companys give you space to make your own site. Check your companys home page and follow the links and instructions. Its not the greatest, but you already pay for it, so why not use it? |

Freewebs works good for being free. I have used for awhile now and no problems. Just a few picture's and video link's not to much. |

| Re: Best Free Web Site? WOW, talk about random nuggets!!! Before your post, this thread hadn't been responded to in 15 years. I am hoping the OP figured it out before now. But, he might have been just handing around waiting for your response. That would make a very patient man... |

There are lots of websites available for free. You can easily start with WordPress, Blogger or Tumblr. These are free platforms but they also have paid version too. But if you are looking for a cheap and reliable paid website builder you can take a look at this pricing chart https://sitecreator.io/#Pricing Comparing to other vendors this one looks cheap and affordable. All the best!
