it's capable now, just on really, really really, little rocks! but yeah you could, with enough fabrication you could make a unicycle a rock crawler. anything is possible.

I don't know if you can revert some thing that has not already been, but you may convert it to something it has never been. Right?

ok...you can convert anything to a "crawler" if it's 4x4, which the hummer is...that is you can make it articulate like a crawler and look like a crawler. the problem you will/may have is that chances are it will not be geared nearly low enough to actually "crawl". it may look like it has the power to get up over something, but you will probably end up burning up the motor. i'm not familiar with how these are 4x4 though, are they setup kinda like clods or nylints with a motor on each axle, like a tlt with a tranny in the middle going to each axle, OR with one motor in the rear axle with a driveshaft going to the front axle? i started building my Radioshack crawler (see my sig) because i didn't have the money for a tlt and wanted a smaller scale crawler than my 1/6 nylint. i thought it would work great, and it did for a while; i built a custom chassis with 4link front/rear, and it looked like a crawler, but when i tried to crawl it--even with a more powerful motor-- it just did not have the right gearing to do it. That said, i'd like to see a buildup on a crawler made from one of those though, and have wanted to make one myself for a while. it may not work, but it's always good practice for if and when you do buy a hg crawler. -Dalton |

It's just as possible as a nitro crawler. They'd probably perform about the same too. |
