|  Other hobbies?
What are peoples other hobbies besides RC? My family and I collect antique tractors.. We have a little over 70 of them! |

my family is a big hobbie of mine.. but.. photography - added hah.. rc cars, comics, paintball, my 78 chevy fullsize, home automation, computer gaming (yes hobbie when you spend this kind of time) Last edited by RootBreaker; 02-01-2017 at 11:36 AM. |

Hockey, art, photos/videos, mild wood working, mountain biking, model trains, comics, sportscards....I like to learn new things....keeps the soul young.  |

I live in a legal state so I enjoy growing. Also have comcis and sports cards, haven't actively collected those for years though. Yet they still take up room in my shop.

First and foremost for me is dirtbikes/dual sports. RC's are there for downtime and to get a quick fix when you've only got a few minutes (like while taking a break from other activities and responsibilities.) Next would be camping, which generally includes RC's and dirtbikes, we're heading to the desert in a couple weeks which will be one of the extremely rare times that I DON'T bring my motorcycles (just the little ones for my boys) so I'll have plenty of time to crawl around and play with the Baja Rey! I used to be pretty heavy into 4x4's, but my K5 is pretty much a yard ornament these days.

3D printing (3D modeling and actual printing), video games (currently hooked on PC sim racing with a steering wheel and pedals), volleyball, pit bikes, and motorcycles.

I collect Mopars my favorite is my 66 Coronet HEMI. In the winter months I spend a lot of time working on my 20x15 n scale railroad. Also have a big gun collection.

My passion is Bass Fishing. Haven't raced harescrambles in 4 years now, but I still get out my Yz250's and race the occasional Grand Prix as well as ride single-track when I can. It's surprising to me how much I deeply enjoy the scale rc trucks and rc crawlers. Getting back into rc has seriously been an awesome thing. My other hobby that has is still a flicker in my mind is traditional rock climbing in the new River gorge and red River gorge. Of all the things I've done in my life climbing was the most all encompassing obsessive end all pursuit I've ever experienced. Funny how life changes things and we adapt our hobbies as time goes on to fill that little void we may have inside.

I volunteer with a local dog rescue group. We mostly have pitts/pitt-mutts but will take in any dog that needs a second chance.

Mountain biking, target shooting (just joined a 500 yard range for my .223, and to attempt with my .22  ), just started photography, playing video games and dicking around on cars.

Plastic models, although I am on Winter Layoff right now and spent more time helping Dad take care of Mom than anything else.
