|  camaro question
ok i bought a 2002 camaro last week. i seen a hood i love but i cant find anywhere to get one. ive seen it in a bunch of magazines on 01-02 camaros its a stinger style hood. my future plans for it is to drop an ls2 or ls7 in it, tub it out, stinger hood, and new paint for it right now its black with orange racing stripes but i want to paint it blue wish silver stripes (metalflake xlarge flake or vreeble paint) but first i ahve to find that dam* hood. lol. thanks dave o yah 2002 camaro 3.8v6 (bad thing about it) 36000 miles 5 spd monsoon system paid $8000 and im sure im leaving something out |

i know every part out there for teh 4th gen f-bodys. discribe the hood better and i can tell you what it is and where to get it. ;)

its the early 60's (i think) corvette style hood. its kinda like a raised ss hood with a rectangular scoop over top of it. heres a link for the vette hood... http://www.gmphotostore.com/images/53217358_pr.jpg if u cant find it no big deal ive just seen it done and love the way it looks on a 4th gen camaro. ill just end up getting a slp ss hood if i cant find the stinger style hood. thanks dave |

i had that hood on my last camaro (93 Z28 ) i dont believe they make it for the 98-02 camaros. only 93-97 http://www.americansportscardesigns....n_camaro.shtml |

ok thanks. they must have custom did it or something its in this months camaro magazine (think this month its white and green). but anyway u know any other good websites with some pretty cool camaro stuff. im wanting to completely redo my car. like i said if i have the money in time hopefully ls7 but as its looking right now ls2. blue with silver racing stripes. but im still not sure what i will end up doing. if u got anything neat or interesting please let me know. thanks for the help dave |

Yank the Monsoon out of there ASAP. Those freaking things suck, just as bas as the Bose systems. You are better off with a good head unit and aftermarket speakers without an amp. Sorry I don't know anything about the hoods, but that is the first thing I thought when I saw the description. |
