| I am LOVING it!!! (with pic)
Yesterday I picked up a nice PNY Verto GeForce 8600 GT video card and another 19" monitor with a 2milisecond response time, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio, A few digital cables, and I was off to hooking it all up This thing rocks... I'm absolutly LOVING the duals!!!! Now I need a new computer desk, but they were sold out of the one I wanted :-( |

It drives me nuts to use a computer that doesn't have duals now. I run duals at home and at both my offices. It makes work a lot easier for me!

a lot of people run dual monitors where i work. they were wondering how you get a different desktop on each screen. and if you could send the floyd ones my uncle would be very appreciative.

It is a desktop specifically designed for dual screens.. Once you get one for dual screens you have to left click on the background and go to properties, and then under the desktop tab you switch it from center or stretch over to tile.. Check out THIS link for some dual screen backgrounds (both screens have to be set up for the same resolution, and the background has to be made for the resolution you are using) | |

It's pretty much just because I can..lol It does help a LOT though.. I play with Photoshop (Alot) and AutoCAD, and it's nice to get all the menus and toolbars onto one screen, and leave one screen as my workspace.. It's also nice to have multiple websites open at once.. say if you want to compare two things.. you can have the specs for both pulled up at the same time, or you could also have Best Buy and Circuit City pulled up on two screens to compare prices, etc... It just makes it SO much nicer |
