| What a terriable day!
Trying to get ready for my wedding this weekend got a load of water with the ol bumperless jeep comanche. backed it up the hill to unload the water into our storage tanks , went back out later and the comanche was gone, it had jumped out of park and rolled down the hill into our roommates s-10 blazer, slashing a tire, caving in the rear quarter panel about 6" and blowing out the side glass, then the truck jumped sideways and took out the drivers door.....totaled the comanche had a broken headlight and crumpled fender. anyone have a line on a good cheap s-10 to replace his POS with? |

| I live 1/2 mile outside of one county water district and 1 mile outside of the city water district, about 30% of the outlying population of Northern AZ haul their water. Drilling for water is very expensive about 100.00 a foot and no guarantee of hitting water. most water in Northern AZ runs through lava tubes, its hit or miss, you can be 6" off line and not hit a thing |

Damn man, sorry to hear! That shat always happens at good times I had my toyota come out of gear and roll into another toyota while we were camped one time. I rolled it back up the hill 20' up the hill and just couldn't believe what happened... I went in the trailer with the door open and lights on to gather my thoughts and grab a pen and paper... I went back to take another look and to leave a note about who did it and how to get ahold of me but the truck was gone!!!!! It was not much damage, it was slow speed, but I'm sure a markerlight was broken because there was a piece layin there. I believe this to be the reason for all my bad luck lately. Sorry about your day, Tomorrow should be better... |

Bad wreck. I feel your pain, but not quite! I took my wife to the Hospital on Monday night, 2hrs away. Raining like crazy. Going a little to fast, and swoosh....hydroplane. Did a little bobbling back and forth, then right toward the median. Can caught a little air turned completly around in a cross over and backwards in the median. Turned all the way back around and stopped hard in the middle of the road. Daughter was terrified, son woke up quick from his nap, Wife checked and made sure everyone was okay and I wiped my A$$. Hit one of those plastic markers. Inches away from hitting the metal sign. The marker survived and my company car doesn't even has a scratch on it. Talk about lucky. I said a little prayer, and slowed down! Hope ya find a replacement for that blazer. Could just duct tape the rear window. |

Try s10forum.com you may pick up a door and quarter on there cheap or a truck. There is another forum with a bunch of s10's converted to rock crawlers but I lost the link when my pc went down and I never backed up the favs. I googled but no luck on it. Sometimes they had ppl selling trucks there. You can always find a good one at a U-Pull it junkyard if you have anything like that in your area. Ive seen them here that sell for $500 or $300 for just a roller. Some of the bodies are in nice condition. No show pieces but no rot. But you do get some that arent worth it. Good Luck! Ive been on a bad streak myself lately. |
