Default Losi rock claws...

Who thinks losi should make them in maxx or 40 series for the guys running supers? They seemed to be a popular tire in the 2.2 class at the nats.. lmk what you guys think of the idea...maybe we can get lost to make a bigger version of them.

The LST's that are similar to the Rock Clawz and were the tire Rock Clawz got there design from do not really work that well. There are 2 guys in our club that has tried the LST type tire with the hollow lugs and they cannot side hill worth a crap and generally work so so.

Now, if Losi would make a tire as tall as a Moab XL out of the blue compound and narrow, like 3"s wide, they would have something. They also would have to have a reinforced side wall to make them work right.

I doubt they are the same compound but the newer style maxx sized claws are much softer than the old style. I have the new ones going on my super build with x-factor axles. Just from tires I've messed with, the rubber seems about like the old M2 compound moab 2.2s, which is pretty soft for a super tire.

Edit: posted the same time as dude but I'll stick by my comments.

I have plans for this , I haven't yet received my losi's yet from my lhs but I think we might see something in a larger tire with the claw pattern.

Just look at the pics from the 07 Nat's. I wonder how many were running losi's claws ...

I think it would be really cool if they made a 40 series rock claw in the same compund as the 2.2 the same tread pattern and maybe like 2- 21/2" wide
