Default Anbody taking the EIT/FE exam today?

Is anybody else on here taking this pita test today?
8 freakin hours long! Starts at 7:15am and goes till about 6pm.
For those of you who don't know what it is, it the Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. It's pretty much what you go through college for, and then take this test your senior year to start becoming a professional engineer. Good luck to anybody else that's taking it!!!

I'll have a cold one in the cooler just for you if you get to the comp site tonight

Good Luck.

Good luck . It isn't as bad as it seems. I took it when I was still at Mines. Just do dimensional analysis and all is gravy!

It has been 1 year since I took mine!

Let me tell you, what a horrible day! I studied the night before for about 2 hours and that was all. Other then that you everything was in the equation manual if you knew how to apply it.

They changed the test a year and a half ago, it is quite a bit different then it used to be.

The FE is still a test that I'm not 100% sure that I'm going to take just yet. The PE is definetly out for me since it can actually hinder your hiring process because you look like a nark on paper.

Been a few years since I took it (okay, a few more than just a few...). Applied and received approval to take the PE, but never have taken the time to sit for it. The new job says it won't make a difference in pay, and they won't pay for the E&O insurance, so I'm not convinced I want to sit for it now!

Well I just got done.
That royally sucked!!!!
The first 4 hour part was easier than I thought it would be, but the second part was ridiculous. Luckily I finished over an hour early and they let you leave instead of staying there until time is up, that would have sucked. Hopefully come January (when we get the results) I'll have passed.

666, This test is a nation wide exam that every college with engineering offered today. It's kinda like the ACT or SAT in high school. My heat transfer test got pushed back, now I just have two test next week.

I can't wait for tomorrow at the comp to finally relax!!!

Congrats!

They are taking longer and longer to get back to people, just a couple years ago they used to let people know by around the middle of December. The suspense just about killed me waiting for my letter.

Thanks guys!

I guess received it in the mail like 2 weeks ago, but I've been at the parents place for Christmas break so I didn't get it until I came back to my place here at school. But yeah, the suspense was horrible!
