| CORCC Dirt bike adventure #1, 11/6/10
Stan and I have been talking and wanting to setup a ride for all of us that have bikes. This will be the first of many to come. When: Saturday, 11/6/10 leaving Brighton at 9:30am Where: Private land in Ft. Morgan. Meeting at the McDonalds at 144th and Hwy76 in brighton at 9am leaving at 9:30. Bring your dirt bikes, quads, SxS's. If you have kids that ride bring them. If you have wives that ride bring them. Pack a lunch and be ready for a great day of riding. |

Looking foward to co-hosting Jason Here is a landmark for everyone: McDonalds is just Southwest of the light by this rock sculpture Just off I-76 and 144th Avenue **(EXIT 21)**...straight across the highway from Barr Lake State Park. Brighton, Colorado. The riding will be pretty low key, mostly open river/creek bottom with sand, water, some trees and more sand. Have some natural terrain sand moto-style track as well as some trails to explore. Also have a roughed-in special test style loop that I've linked together trough some of the trees, hills and downfall. I'll be checking weather and some conditions out there this coming week...stay tuned Stan. Last edited by DeaDShorT; 11-02-2010 at 06:41 PM. Reason: add HWY 76 exit #21. |

This sounds cool!!! I should have all my parts this week so I'm in. Is there enough parking for my 20' trailer? |

I'll be bringing some marking ribbon and arrows to do some course design on the fly...we can mark a loop out to keep the kids in a central location.

Sparky, it's just a day ride. I'm making sure my wife and boys (and anyone else) will be comfortable regardless of the weather...shade/shelter/heat are nice to have if it's needed, and the fridge keeps the beer and lunch fixins cold. Teaser.... |

Awesome!! Sounds like Cody and Heather are going to come with me so we will have his bike and the mini-quad. I'm excited to try out your special test sections Stan. I'm hoping to do some enduros next year so I need some experience. |

Sounds like a blast, wish I had something to ride besides my Vulcan. I don't think it would do all that well off road. Something else I want to get again!

Milliken will be hosting the last Enduro for 2010 Nov. 14th. The format is easy to understand, it's basicly just a timed lap around the course ridden 3-5 times depending on which class you sign-up for. They will have a kids race on Saturday the 13th. http://www.racermec.org/images/RMEC/...ken%202010.pdf Weather forecast as of this morning: Friday Nov 5 Mostly Sunny Hi:62°Lo:39° Mostly Sunny. High 62F and low 39F. Winds SE at 7 mph. Air Quality:NA, UV Index:NA 0% Last edited by DeaDShorT; 10-31-2010 at 07:43 AM.

| Wouldn't let that happen on my watch, TY I'll see about getting a buddy bike and a girlfriend bike out there. I'll bring an extra helmet/gloves/goggles. Footwear will be up to you. I've got a small propane grille/griddle that lives in the toyhauler, anyone else want to bring one for a cookout lunch? |
