2012 Colorado Crawl-Off and make-up comp 6/1-3/12

It is time for the 2012 Colorado Crawl-Off!

The battle between the Western Slope and the Front Range!

10 drivers, top 5 from each group put head to head to see who gets the 2 spots for Nationals, The Kings of Colorado!

We will be heading to the same spot as last year, just outside of Buena Vista!

The GPS coordinates in Google Maps I get for the spot are: 38.855007,-106.059512

Here are my directions from last year. I will be there early Friday and will put orange flags at the turn off 285 up to the comp spot.

For those of you that might bring big campers and lowrider cars use County Road 305, all others County Road 315 is faster. Both are forest roads, one is a tad bit nicer than the other. Basically once you get on 376 you go left on 367A and it is the first pull off on the left.

Towards the top of 305 and 315 there are tons of camping spots for BIG motorhomes, campers, tents etc. There is room at the comp spot as well.

This year we will be doing a make-up comp Saturday morning for the Front Range guys. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and compete. Just remember your $5 entry per class, that will be given to the top drivers of each class.

After the make-up Sheldon has planned a evening run of Carnage so get those rigs ready to get shown up by some Sami's!

Then get together for some campfire, if we can have one, food, if you have some, some beverages, some story telling, and some good r/c times!

Then Sunday morning we will have the 2.2 PRO Crawl-Off between Western and Eastern Colorado to see who is the best in the state! Like anyone has a doubt!

So Eastern Colorado boys check the scores, you may want to show to this one on Saturday, because you may move up and be eligible to be in the Crawl-Off Sunday. Check the standings, there is a good chance you can move up and switch things around!

Lets hear some good smack talking on who is going to lay the smack down, PLEASE post up if your coming, and ask any questions or add any comments here.....

I'm really glad i have top 5 locked, but actually knowing the courses you guys build nothing will change because nobody will be able to finish them

I'm hoping we're gonna start at the same 8:30-9:00 time frame so we can get down to Carnage by 2:00-3:00ish. I'm pretty sure that's what Patrick is planning!
