Default RCC shutting down, what the duce?

In my thead about having problems with posts going away some peeps talked about RCC shutting down for a couple of months, what is the real story behind it?

Is it just the main RCC site, or is it the site and the forums?

If it is shutting down, when will it happen and when will it come back
(I want to let my wife know how long I will be curled up in the fetal position mumbling to myself)?

Its compleatly normal. Badger shuts the server down over the summer because it gets to hot. He should post a thread with details soon. Good news it it should only be for 2 months this year.

I like the time away from my computer every summer....it gives me plenty of time to work on my projects.

You'll get used to it!

This is part of Badger's "It's summer, get your lazy butt's outside and play with your toy trucks already" plan.

I thought it was the whole 'Green' thing ........ all that electricity the servers waste when no ones using them.

Do they call it a Badger Blackout?
