I have been a member for a long time. I had to make a new user name. I couldn't remember my password and had a new email. I emailed here but received no reply. I'd sure love to have my old user name again. Maybe you can help me.

What was your old screen name?

Jason or Badger can create a new password and change the email for you.

30 posts or not anyone can put up an ad and take your money, it would be useful for new guys to have access to the for sale section so they can get started and get what they need, but thats just my opinion

Honestly I think that is wrong. A lot of people new to crawling buy without doing their homework and then have a bunch of other questions or regret. 30 posts and 30 days makes you stick around long enough and be a part of enough threads that you have a decent understanding of what to buy. It isn't a fool proof way to not be taken for your money but it certainly is a good start. There are plenty of other forums you could view if you don't like the rules here. Nobody is forcing you to be here.

30 Days and 30 Posts isn't unreasonable. They rule was placed to cut down on scammers. It has been working for the most part.

It may somewhat inconvenient for a short while, but they'll get over it.

And we have a "Feedback Forum" on here as well. If you do your homework and look at someones feedback this will keep you from getting ripped off. Just buy a star already!

Obviously you weren't around when scamming was running rampant on this forum when everybody had access right away to the classifieds ;). Changing the rules has all but eliminated that, so we'll keep the rules the way they are.
