| Hi lift
What about the the modded comp hilifts. Are they going to go in the tlt forum. If so is the name going to change......2.2 unlimited or something. Just some food for thought. Cole |

I think a modded hi-lift would still go into the Scale forum. Comp hi-lift..... |

Yes I agree with Badger,if they did a section for the Hi-Lift you'd have to do one for PTI,Nikko etc,etc....They are good scale rig.

Personally, I think the axles will make a killer 2.2 comp setup. A touch wider (so the knuckles dont get widener stress), better turning because of less scrub, cleaner lines to the housing, and I guess thats about it. Scale will still go in scale, anything that is just a 2.2 build will go elsewhere. |

I wasn't talking about adding a sub forum for the hight lift. Just renaming the tlt one. I'm with John, I think the axles will make a great comp rig. That's what I was talking about. Since the sub forum is tlt and then scale. |

So renaming the tlt section? It could almost be called "tamiya small scale", or something as equally ambiguous and all inclusive. The two axles are so similar in size and functionality, a "tlt/ hilift" rename could rectify the situation. |

The only think is who is going to buy a Hi Lift for the axles? Especially when the TLT is $79.99 and the Hi Lift is $350.00+. It might be a while until we see a Hi Lift axles rig. |

What are you doing w/ the rest? I guess is you bought one you could piece meal the rest of the kit to off set the expense of it. They will make nice crawler axles! | |

And the three speed will make a nice addition to another build. The leaves for another, the body for another, and then you get lots of extra hardware and shocks and bits.

Alright I'm just guessing here. The Hi-lift kit cost 400. So if you get 70 for the body, 30 for the frame, 20 for the Leafs, 30 for the Shocks, and 70 for the Tranny. I'm sure there is more you could sell also. But that right there takes off 220 bucks. So the axles would cost you 180 bucks. I maybe off on what you could get for that stuff. Oh and the wheels and tires. I bet they is enough stuff to sale that you could get ther axles for around 100 or so.
